My Review of Incredible India
I may not be an avid traveler but I always enjoy reading about interesting places. I’ve been following Aditya’s blog posts with great interest during Blogchatter A2Z and I’m so glad to see them compiled into a book.
An interesting feature of the book is that each location is introduced with a juicy historical story followed by a description of the architecture (if it’s a monument). If there’s a cool feature or tidbit about the place, you can be sure that Aditya has captured it beautifully.
It’s nothing like the relatively dry travel guides that flood the market. Instead, Aditya’s narrative has succeeded in breathing life into each place. The photos are also breathtaking!
Reading about Edakkal caves, Hampi, Nandi Hills, and Orchha Fort was like revisiting fond memories because I’ve been to these places. I’m adding Thiksey Monastery and Ziro Valley to my (very small) bucket list of “places to visit before I die” as a result of this book.
Whether you’re a travel junkie or a history buff, Aditya’s mesmerizing narrative will keep you entertained–and dreaming of a COVID-free world!
What do you think?
